Adolescent Group for Anxiety + Depression

Adolescents (ages 13 to 17) are invited to sign-up for this five-session group in order to develop skills to cope with anxiety and depression. Based on the DNA-v model of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the group format incorporates both didactic instruction and experiential activities.  Because the group emphasizes skills training, participants are welcome to continue in their current therapies, too.

Group members will learn the following:

·      Constructive ways to interact with their inner critic

·      Mindfulness practices to help relax and experience the present moment more fully

·      How to identify and work towards their life goals

The group will be from 4 to 5:30, starting on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017. The price is $300 for the 5-week series. For more information or to register, please contact Dr. Cecily Anders at 888-343-6031 or anders@sohocbt.com
